What to bring

Ndaka is a lekker relaxed, informal lodge. If we had to describe the dress code, we’d call it ‘safari casual’. Your comfort is our only concern.

Neutral colours are recommended for game drives.

From November to March, bring casual Summer clothes. A warm jersey/sweater is recommended for the cooler morning and evening temperatures.

From April to October, bring light, casual clothing. You will need a very warm insulated or padded jacket for the cold mornings and nights. A hat, scarf and gloves would help too.

Shorts and T-shirts are needed all year round for the warm midday period – unless you want to look like a tourist!

Other things to put on the list

Swimming costumes, sunscreen, sun hat and sunglasses
Sandals and flip flops are useful for walking around the lodge and pool area (or just go barefoot!)
Cameras, binoculars, video cameras, batteries and lots of memory cards are recommended. Batteries can be charged in your suite. Electricity voltage is 220v.

Pack your trainers or running shoes to work off your lunch on our Trail.

Pack your water bottle so that you can fill it at our water station. You can also drink the water from the taps in your safari tent or lodge room.

We are situated in a malaria-free zone, so take a chill pill instead!
