• Nambiti Conservation Levy at the current rate of R200.00 (incl. VAT) per person per night for all teenagers & adults. The rate of R100 applies to all children aged 4-12 years. For day visitors, the Levies of R100 per person and R50 per child (aged 4-12 years) per drive applies. The levies are subject to change without notice & an annual increase usually applies every March.

• Extra optional activities such as bass fishing (seasonal)
• Any babysitting services – subject to availability of a babysitter. The rate of R90/hour (for a maximum of 2 children) is payable in cash to the babysitter directly
• Ranger & lodge staff gratuities

Identification
Ndaka Safari Lodge is by law required to collect a copy of the primary guest’s identification in the form of a South African Identity book or card, a valid Passport or Driver’s Licence. This can either be emailed to us prior to your arrival or provided on arrival at the lodge.

Conditions of Entry, Waiver of Liability and Indemnity
The Nambiti Private Game Reserve requires that the Conditions of Entry, Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Form is signed by the primary guest & returned to Ndaka Safari Lodge before or on arrival.

After making a booking by email to stay@ndaka.co.za, the reservation will remain provisional until it is confirmed with a 50% deposit within 7 days after invoice.

The balance of payment is to be settled 7 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival.

All extras to be settled at the lodge prior to departure.

Ndaka Safari Lodge reserves the right, without notice, to release any accommodation held where the required deposits or payments have not been received timeously.

For group bookings:

The booking of a group reservation must be in writing by email to stay@ndaka.co.za.

Any party reserving 60% or more of the rooms (10 suites) is considered a group.

A group reservation will remain provisional until it is confirmed with a deposit of at least 50% within 7 days after invoice.

Full payment is to be received 14 days prior to the group’s scheduled date of arrival.

All extras to be settled at the lodge prior to departure.

Payments can be made by direct deposit into our bank account or via the secure link through the Semper payment portal as provided on your ProForma Invoice.

PLEASE NOTE that we only use the trusted Semper secure link generated by our Semper booking system. This is to ensure that each payment can be tracked and traced, providing you with peace of mind in the knowledge that your booking is secure and that all payment information will be protected. Unfortunately, there have been reports of fraudulent activity through email hacking, and we want to ensure that our guests and Ndaka Safari Lodge are not affected.

We do NOT send payment links in the body of an email nor do we offer discounts for settling in full. If prompted to pay via platforms like iKhokha, Yoco, Paypal, Bitcoin Wallet etc please ignore these and advise us immediately.

Please note that cash deposits are not recommended as First National Bank’s cash deposit fees will be for the primary guest’s account.

Similarly, international bank transfers fees will be added to the primary guest’s account.

We will do our best to accommodate your dietary requests, but please advise of any special dietary needs in advance of arrival. We do not, unfortunately, operate a Halaal or Kosher kitchen.

We can gladly cater for these requests without any extra charges:
Food-specific allergies, e.g. shellfish, mushrooms & onions
Food preferences, e.g. no pork, no beef, no seafood, vegetarians & pescatarians
Gluten free/lactose free/dairy free guests that are happy to “eat around” our standard menus

Extra charges will, however, apply to guests who would prefer for us to shop & cook especially for their diets by adding extra options to our menus for them to enjoy:
Gluten free – R50 pppn extra
Lactose/dairy free – R100 pppn extra
Vegan – R150 pppn extra applies

Cancellations must be sent in writing by email to stay@ndaka.co.za.
Cancellations are subject to our standard cancellation fees.

OUR STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY IS:

• Cancelled more than 90 days prior to arrival: no penalty but banking charges apply
• Cancelled 31 – 90 days prior to arrival: 10% of the full accommodation charge
• Cancelled 15 – 30 days prior to arrival: 25% of the full accommodation charge
• Cancelled 8 – 14 days prior to arrival: 50% of the full accommodation charge
• Cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival: 75% of the full accommodation charge

Please note that all international banking charges will be for the guest’s account for any refunds requested.

ENTRY AND USE AT OWN RISK

Kindly note that your entry at Ndaka Safari Lodge and your use of all facilities at the lodge is entirely at your own risk. The owners of Hulmar Properties trading as Ndaka Safari Lodge, the owners’ lessees, employees and contractors do not accept liability for any damages or injuries which may be sustained or suffered by any person arising from entry upon Ndaka Safari Lodge or the use of any of the facilities established thereon, irrespective of whether any such damages or injuries may be caused by or be attributed to any negligent act or omission.

Although attacks by wild animals are rare, guests are reminded that many of the animals and reptiles they will see are potentially dangerous. Neither Nambiti Conservation Trust, Hulmar Properties (Pty) Ltd, Ndaka Safari Lodge, any lodge owner, their staff members, associates, agents, nor their suppliers can be held liable for any injuries caused during an incident involving the behaviour of wild animals.
